COMMISSION ON SEPARATION METHODS IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY
(V.3)
Number: 530/13/97
Title: Retention parameters in gas chromatography
Coordinator(s): V.A.
Davankov
Completion Date: 2001 - project completed
Objective:
The Nomenclature for Chromatography briefly described some terms
associated with retention in gas chromatography that are currently in
dispute. The aim of the project is to resolve this issue and make recommendations
as to the agreed meaning of a number of these terms and definitions
which have a fundamental significance with the method is used to determine
the physical properties of analytes.
Progress:
A final draft has been circulated to Commission members and to the Division.
Some of the terms have been coordinated with project
530/12/97.
A revised document is submitted to public review comments until 28
February 2001
> see provisional
recommendations
