COMMISSION ON NOMENCLATURE, PROPERTIES, AND UNITS (VII.C.1)

Number: 710/24/95

Title: Basic Metrological Concepts and Definitions in Clinical Laboratory Sciences

Coordinator(s): R. Dybkaer

Remark(s): The Commission is represented in the Joint Committee for Guides in Metrology, WG2, which is revising the VIM.

Completion Date: 1999

Objective:
The definition of "quantity" in VIM 1993 is unsatisfactory, and is inconsistent with the system of concepts and terms which underlies the work of this Commission.
